Today the KENSO Group boasts 30 different companies across the Asia Pacific region. Its businesses encompass three main divisions, namely crop protection and fertilisers, farming and food production.
The crop protection division is the mainstay of the groups business, contributing 70% to the group turnover. A pioneer Malaysian company in the agrochemical business KENSO is well regarded throughout the industry, and is today one of the top producers of agrochemicals and organic fertilisers in the region.
Over the years its brands have become synonymous with quality. The Group’s products are widely used on farms, crops and forests throughout the Asia Pacific region. Through its own sales distribution network, KENSO’s agrochemical products have made their way into Australia, America, Thailand, Indonesia and China, and are also exported to many other countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Strong production capabilities
KENSO, a pioneer in agrochemical production, currently owns three manufacturing plants. The two located in Malaysia are in Pulau lndah and Taiping, producing agrochemicals and organic fertilisers respectively. The third is an agrochemical facility in Zhenjiang, China, which was acquired in 2007. The three facilities contribute a total production capacity of 55,000MT for agrochemicals and 20,000MT for organic fertilisers.
In their commitment to excellence, KENSO continuously invests in the latest equipment in their factories and laboratories to ensure that their products never compromise on quality.
Their Pulau lndah manufacturing plant in Westport has over the years become KENSO’s most fully automated, technologically advanced plant. To expand capacity and efficiency, their other plants are also being upgraded.
We also have a dedicated product development and quality control chemistry team which provides the capability to design robust product formulations for New Zealand agribusiness.
All KENSO products are manufactured under stringent quality control, based on the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance Programme.

Customer Service
Our New Zealand based staff offer responsive and committed customer service and support along with extensive technical and product knowledge. Order and administrative processing is conducted in our Brisbane Regional office and our warehouse facilities in Hastings and Christchurch offer delivery timelines within 48 hours. Our international team of technical managers, laboratory technicians and production and shipping staff provide comprehensive technical and logistical support to the KENSO NZ business.
